Human Chiropractic Care
Let’s work together!
Are you experiencing pain, discomfort, or limitations with your body? Don’t put off your own health another day!
Discovery Appointment
A Functional Movement Assessment will be performed, assessing joint limitations and muscular involvement to identify the root cause of pain.
We'll discuss current discomfort and limitations to create a personalized treatment plan.
Combination Appointment
During a combination appointment, I perform a thorough evaluation to assess your body's needs, focusing on ranges of motion to identify restrictions or imbalances. I then combine soft tissue work with chiropractic adjustments, addressing and treating muscles and joints.
Chiropractic Appointment
During any chiropractic appointment, I begin with a thorough evaluation to assess your body’s needs. We’ll go through specific ranges of motion to identify any restrictions or imbalances. Once these are identified, I will adjust you.
You matter too!
Combination Appointment
I understand the importance of getting yourself or your animal out of pain and back to performing at your best. This is why I use a combination of treatments to achieve lasting relief.
I start appointments with a thorough assessment and motion palpation to pinpoint the root cause of discomfort. Often, the area where pain is felt isn’t the true source of dysfunction. Identifying the source allows us to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the underlying issue.
Optimal alignment isn’t just about adjusting joints. Soft tissue, including muscles and fascia, plays a significant role in maintaining proper alignment. Without addressing soft tissue, chiropractic care alone may not provide lasting results. Tight muscles or restricted fascia can prevent your body from "holding" an adjustment, causing it to revert back to its pre-adjusted state.
In combination appointments, we address soft tissue through techniques like:
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM): This technique helps break down fascial restrictions by promoting a low-level inflammatory response, encouraging the body to lay down healthy tissue and restore function.
Cupping: An alternative therapy that increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and aids in pain relief and musculoskeletal recovery.
Massage: Targeted soft tissue work ensures muscles are more relaxed, allowing adjustments to hold longer and enhance the effects of chiropractic care.
Following soft tissue work, I perform chiropractic adjustments to restore motion in restricted joints. Using a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust, I aim to increase mobility and alleviate discomfort.
Alongside treatment, I’ll educate you about your condition and provide tools, including home exercises, to support your recovery and help you take control of your health.
My goal is to address the root cause of pain so you or your animal can live a healthier, pain-free life without the need for ongoing care.
